We build Shopify stores and custom Next.js stores. Most agencies sell you whichever one they prefer building. We publish both prices below and tell you straight which one your store actually needs.
We recently scoped a full Shopify launch for a UAE niche retail brand: standard catalogue, non-technical owner, fast launch. The same questions would point a speed-critical catalogue with unusual UX to custom code. Different stores, different right answers. Here is how we call it.
The world's most supported commerce platform, set up properly by people who do this every week. You get a proven admin, a huge app ecosystem, and a store any Shopify professional on earth could support after us. You are never locked into us.
Best when
The honest trade-off: a monthly platform fee (AED 110 to 400) for as long as the store runs, and less control over page speed and markup than custom code allows.
A storefront built from scratch in code you own outright. No platform fee, ever. Top-tier Core Web Vitals, full control over every pixel and every meta tag, and the freedom to build UX that no theme or app can do.
Best when
The honest trade-off: there is no app store. Every feature is built to order, which is exactly the point, and also where the cost goes.
If we estimate wrong, that is our cost, not yours. And because saying what is excluded builds more trust than listing what is in, every tier states both.
Start small without losing a dirham. Begin with the Store Launch Edition and upgrade to the Full Store within 90 days: everything you paid credits fully toward the Full Store price. You only ever pay the difference.
We build with the photos you supply. Good photos are the most common cause of launch delays, so we say it upfront.
We import and structure the product data you provide, and supply templates for policy pages. Brand copywriting is quoted separately.
Ads, SEO campaigns, and email marketing flows are separate engagements. The store is built to support them from day one.
Trade licences, product registrations, and courier rules for your category are your responsibility. We guide you on what to ask and who to ask.
Anything outside the listed scope is a friendly conversation and a small written quote before any work happens. You will never receive an invoice you didn't approve in advance.
We build the first two columns, so we have no platform to push. Use this to sanity-check any recommendation, including ours.
| Factor | Custom (Next.js) | Shopify | WooCommerce |
|---|---|---|---|
| Monthly platform cost | AED 0 (you pay only hosting) | AED 110–400/month | Hosting + plugins (variable) |
| Commission per sale | 0% | 0.5–2% per order unless you use Shopify Payments | 0% (but plugin fees apply) |
| SEO & speed ceiling | Top-tier (Next.js, Core Web Vitals) | Good with a well-built theme; less control over markup | Moderate (WordPress overhead) |
| Delivery time with us | 1–3 weeks | 1 week (Launch Edition) to 3 weeks (Full Store) | We don't build on it |
| Code ownership | Full (yours forever) | Theme code is yours; the platform is rented | Yes, but complex to manage |
| Self-management after handover | Simple product manager included | Easiest: proven admin, orders, discounts | Steeper learning curve |
| Feature ecosystem | Built to order, no app fees | Thousands of apps, some with monthly fees | Plugins, quality varies |
| Best for | SEO/speed-critical stores, unusual UX, no-fee ownership | Standard catalogues, fast launch, owner self-manages | Stores already deep in WordPress |
Tell us what you sell, how many products, and how hands-on you want to be. We recommend Shopify or custom, honestly, and fix the price in writing before a single line is built.
You watch the store come together on a live preview link. Structured revision rounds at set checkpoints, so feedback lands where it changes things, not after.
Payments live, domain connected, training delivered, handover pack in your hands. You run the store yourself from day one.
The timeline clock starts when your assets are in: logo files, product list, and photos. Missing product photos are the most common cause of launch delays in this industry, so we put it in writing before the project starts, not after it slips.
Shopify fits when your catalogue is standard, you want to launch fast, and you will manage the store yourself using its admin and app ecosystem. A custom Next.js store fits when SEO and speed are critical to your plan, you want zero monthly platform fees, you need full code ownership, or your buying experience needs UX no theme can do. One Bit Launch builds both and recommends honestly based on your store, not our preference.
One Bit Launch publishes fixed prices. Shopify builds: the Store Launch Edition is AED 9,000 (live in 1 week, up to 20 products) and the Full Store is AED 18,000 (live in 3 weeks, full catalogue, custom homepage sections, reviews, analytics, full handover pack). Custom Next.js stores are AED 8,000 to 20,000 depending on scope, quoted fixed in writing.
Yes. If you start with the Store Launch Edition and upgrade to the Full Store within 90 days, everything you paid credits fully toward the Full Store price. You only ever pay the difference.
Product photography, content writing beyond importing the product data you supply, ongoing marketing (ads, SEO campaigns, email flows), and regulatory or licensing compliance for your product category, which stays your responsibility while we guide you on what to ask. On Shopify builds, the platform subscription and any paid apps are purchased under your account and paid directly by you.
On custom stores: Stripe, PayTabs, Telr, and Network International, the main gateways used by UAE e-commerce businesses. On Shopify builds: Shopify Payments with Apple Pay and Google Pay, plus regional options where available. All compliant with UAE Central Bank regulations.
The Shopify Store Launch Edition goes live in 1 week, the Full Store in 3 weeks. Custom Next.js stores take 1 to 3 weeks depending on scope. The clock starts when your assets are in: logo files, product list, and photos. Missing photos are the most common cause of launch delays, so we say it before the project starts.
Yes, on both paths. Shopify stores come with Shopify's own admin, the easiest in the industry, and we train you on it. Custom stores are delivered with a simple product management system so you can add, edit, and remove products without a developer. Training is included in every handover.
Message us what you sell and roughly how many products. We'll reply with a straight recommendation, Shopify or custom, and a fixed price in writing.
